2nd Gen. Tundra "Blackhawk" Tune

Service Description

Developed by YotaWerx Tuning LLC, this tune is for a naturally aspirated 5.7-liter V6 automatic transmission 2nd Generation (model year 2007 - 2021) Toyota Tundra. The 2nd Gen. Tundra is fortunate to have access to engine tuning and transmission shift parameters. Engine parameters on this tune are remapped to provide more power, smoother delivery, and improve throttle response. Combine these together with access to remap the transmission shift parameters and you get a tune that allows the vehicle to optimize its utilization of power and programming in a more efficient manner leading to improved shifting and better fuel economy. On top of that, each tune is customized to accommodate your vehicle's tire size and differential gear ratio. Customers with model year 2018+ may also opt for gear lock as an added feature allowing for near total control over the shifting for more discerning drivers. Additional tune options appropriate to driving style and octane preference (Flex Fuel Vehicles are now supported) will be discussed in person with you prior to flash services to further determine the right tune specifications to suit your needs. In some cases, the tuner may need to identify the vehicle’s ECU ID and then schedule a follow up appointment for tuning, as some ECU versions have yet to be identified and therefore may not be supported at this time.
