4th Gen. 4Runner "Blackhawk" Tune

Service Description

Developed by YotaWerx Tuning LLC, this tune is for a naturally aspirated 4.7-liter V8 (VVT-i version only) automatic transmission 4th Generation (model year 2005 - 2009) Toyota 4Runner. The 4th Gen. 4Runner is fortunate to have full access to engine tuning and transmission shift parameters. Engine parameters on this tune are remapped to provide more power, smoother delivery, and improve throttle response. Combine these together with access to remap the transmission shift parameters and you get a tune that allows the vehicle to optimize its utilization of power and programming in a more efficient manner leading to improved shifting and better fuel economy. Additional tune options appropriate to vehicle modifications, driving style, and octane preference will be discussed in person with you prior to flash services to further determine the right tune specifications to suit your needs.
