GX 470 "Blackhawk" Tune

Service Description

Developed by YotaWerx Tuning LLC, this tune is for a naturally aspirated 4.7-liter V8 (VVT-i version only) automatic transmission Lexus GX 470 model year 2005 - 2009.* The GX 470 is fortunate to have access to engine control and transmission shift parameters. Engine parameters on this tune are remapped to provide more power, smoother delivery, and improve throttle response. Combine these together with access to remap the transmission shift parameters and you get a tune that allows the vehicle to optimize its utilization of power and programming in a more efficient manner leading to improved shifting and better fuel economy. Additional tune options appropriate to vehicle modifications, driving style, and octane preference will be discussed in person with you prior to flash services to further determine the right tune specifications to suit your needs. *Please note that access to early 2003-2004 non-VVTI models is still currently in development. We expect access to be available mid 2023. In some cases, the tuner may need to identify the vehicle’s ECU ID and then schedule a follow up appointment for tuning, as some ECU versions have yet to be identified and therefore may not be supported at this time.
